From US-13 in Laurel, DE, take DE-492 East (Broad Creek Road) approximately 1.5 miles to the Records Pond dam area; the tidal pier is below the dam on Broad Creek. GPS: Broad Creek Road / Records Pond Dam, Laurel, DE 19956.

Free gravel parking is available at the access site. The pier reopened in 2024 — confirm current configuration with DNREC before traveling.
