1. Getting there and parking

Directions

The park entrance is at 1068 Howell School Road, Bear, DE 19701. From Route 301/US-13, take DE-71 West (Howell School Road) approximately 1 mile to the main park entrance on the left. Follow internal park signage to the fishing pier area.

Parking

A paved parking lot sits adjacent to the fishing pier with a smooth, gently sloped path to the water. Delaware state park entrance fees apply: $4/day for in-state vehicles, $8/day for out-of-state vehicles (March 1 – November 30). Annual passes are available. No fee on Sundays.
